Brand guidelines · v2
The identity system for the Pixelmojo product family. Radar sweeps, Vector points, Hive multiplies. This document explains the thinking, the geometry, and the rules.
Pixelmojo · July 2026
01 · Why a system
Pixelmojo ships instruments. Radar audits how AI reads your brand across 13 checks and hands you the fix. Vector shows the move your growth data is making. Hive multiplies the work of one team across many channels. Each product needed its own mark, but a drawer of unrelated logos would fracture the brand with every launch.
So the identity is not a logo, it is a rule for making logos. One geometric grammar generates every product mark, today's three and whatever ships next. The customer learns the language once. Every new mark is a sentence they can already read.
The grammar borrows the oldest instrument in strategy: the two-by-two grid. An audit table reduced to its atom. Order, one action, one result.
02 · The grammar
Every mark lives on a 64-unit square divided into four cells. Two cells stay square and quiet: the system working as expected. One cell becomes the product's verb, always pink, always top-right: the thing this product does. One white counter-shape sits on the opposite diagonal, always bottom-left, and answers the verb: the result, the origin, the individual.
Two quiet cells · the baseline
One pink verb · the action
One counter-shape · the answer
The mark · assembled
Every mark gets two reads. First read: a clean geometric monogram, calm enough for a favicon. Second read: the product in motion, an audit mid-sweep, a trajectory underway, a colony at work. The second read is the promise. It should arrive about a second after the first, like the finding the products themselves deliver.
03 · The family
AI visibility, audited. The verb is a quarter-circle sweep, the audit's field of view crossing the grid. The counter-shape is the blip: the issue found, isolated, fix attached. Radar sees what AI gets wrong before your buyers do.
Direction with magnitude. The verb is a triangle aimed at the corner, the move your data is making. The counter-shape is the same triangle smaller: where you started. Read the diagonal and you read the growth.
The many and the one. The verb is a cell subdivided into four, the colony working in parallel. The counter-shape is a single cell on the diagonal: the individual whose work just multiplied. Hive scales effort, not headcount.
The sibling test
Any future product mark must pass one test: place it in the row beside these three. If a stranger can tell it belongs before reading the name, the verb is right. If it needs explaining, it is wrong. No fourth shape language, ever.
04 · Construction
All three marks share one skeleton: 64-unit canvas, 4-unit margin, 4-unit gutter, four 26-unit cells. Every coordinate is a multiple of the brand's 4px spacing base. Square corners by law; the circle appears once in the whole family, as Radar's blip, and scarcity is what makes it loud.
The verbs are derived, not drawn. Radar's sweep is a true quarter-circle of radius 26 swung from the cell's inner corner. Vector's triangles are the cell cut on its diagonal, repeated at 16 units for the origin. Hive's swarm re-applies the master grid inside one cell: 11-unit subcells, 4-unit gutter, the system fractal with itself.
05 · Clearspace & size
Clearspace = one cell width, all sides
64
32
16
Minimum 16px. Below 24px, use the optically fattened favicon cut.
At favicon sizes the standard geometry thins out, so the family ships a dedicated small cut: margins tightened, counter-shapes enlarged. Never scale the display mark below 24px; switch to the small cut instead.
06 · Color
Pixelmojo's rule is color as meaning, never decoration. Across the family, #F90B8A marks the active element only: the part of the mark doing the work. Everything else is neutral. When color is everywhere it means nothing; here it means “this is the action.”

Grade · Radar hero only
The A-to-F grade gradient is Radar's alone: it is the product's core readout, so Radar's hero variant may carry it in the sweep. Vector and Hive never take the gradient. One product, one signature, no dilution.
07 · Typography
Grade the signal.
Space Grotesk 600 · Display, product names
You read the grade, you know what to do next. Momentum you can see, week over week.
Geist Sans 400 · Body, UI copy
By Pixelmojo · 13 checks · A+
Geist Mono 400 · Instrument labels, 0.18em
Space Grotesk speaks, Geist explains, Geist Mono measures. Product names are always Space Grotesk 600 with tight tracking. The “By Pixelmojo” signature is always mono, uppercase, 0.18em. No other typefaces enter the system.
08 · Lockups
Every lockup follows one construction: mark left, product name in Space Grotesk, “By Pixelmojo” beneath in mono. The gap between mark and wordmark equals one cell width. The product is the instrument; Pixelmojo is the certification underneath it. Never reverse the hierarchy, never set the product name in mono, never drop the signature on marketing surfaces.
Inside a product's own UI the signature may drop after first render; the mark alone carries identity at app scale. On the website, in ads, and in exports the full lockup is mandatory at least once per surface.
09 · Misuse
No rotation
No rounding
No recoloring
No shadows
No repositioning
No gradient outside Radar
Also: never swap a verb between products, never outline the shapes, never place the mark on photography or a gradient background, never invent a fourth mark outside the grammar.
10 · Applications
The quadrant doubles as the family's master layout grid, and it mirrors how the products are organized: scores in cells, one finding pulled forward. Ads, covers, report pages, and dashboard tiles divide the same way: two quiet cells, one active cell, one finding. The brand scales without ever redrawing the mark, because every surface is the mark.
Audit grade / weekly pulse / campaign · same grid, different payload
In layout, the pink cell always holds the message doing the work: the grade, the hook, the CTA. The counter-dot marks the proof or the finding. Quiet cells hold context. One pink cell per surface, never two.
11 · Voice
The family talks the way a good readout does: plain, direct, second person. Short declarative sentences. Verb-first CTAs of four words or fewer. Numbers only when they carry a real signal. No emoji, no hype, no dashes.

One grid, three verbs, and room for every product Pixelmojo ships next. The system needs no redesign to grow. It needs discipline.
